Baccarat is an uncomplicated game based purely on luck. Your challenge? To decide whether the Player or the Banker holds the winning hand, or whether it’s a tie.

In Baccarat two hands are dealt, one for the player and one for the banker, but neither you nor the house have any sway over which hand will win.

Nine is the number the hands are aiming for and you need to choose which of the two hands will have the closest value.  Each hand is dealt two cards, and the hand is calculated by the total value of their cards.

• Cards from 2 to 9 carry that same face value
• Royal face cards (Jacks, Kings, and Queens) and a 10 is worth zero
• Aces are worth 1
• Should the total value be higher than nine then the second digit is used as the value.

Example: The banker receives a 5 and a 3, which means his hand is worth 8 (5 + 3 = 8). The player is dealt a 7 and a 9, which is a total of 16 (7 + 9 = 16). In this case you use only the second digit, therefore his hand is worth 6. The Banker wins, and if you bet on him so do you!

• If the value of the players cards is 5 or lower an additional card is drawn
• The same applies to the banker but on a value of 2 or lower
